School Teachers Pay and Conditions
We are seeking to recruit Music Teachers to Cumberland Music Service, which is a Local Authority service delivery area within Cumberland Council. Positions are contracted Centrally Employed Teachers. All positions are required to teach full class, small groups, 1-1 tuition.

We are looking to recruit:
- 1.5 x FTE Guitar/Ukulele/Bass (although this could be comprised of 3 x 0.5 FTE)
- 1 x FTE Equivalent – to cover Brass and Strings. This could be comprised of 2 x 0.5 FTE for flexibility (i.e. 0.5 FTE for Brass plus 0.5 FTE for Strings)
Pay will be dependent on experience and qualification – Minimum Unqualified Teacher Status to UPS3, and will be on Standard Teachers’ Pay and Conditions.
