Marketing & Communications Officer

£28,100 per year plus a training budget and contributory pension

If you are passionate about coordinating and creating impactful campaign content, finding new ways to promote activity and engaging with existing and new audiences across music and education then we want to hear from you! As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be responsible for delivering Music Mark communications including writing articles for our website, creating newsletters and the planning and creation of our podcast.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating marketing activity under the guidance of the Marketing & Communications Manager
  • Coordinating newsletters, bulletins and email marketing
  • Supporting the planning and creation of the Music Mark podcast
  • Developing an annual Marketing Fundamentals training programme alongside the Marketing & Communications team
  • Taking responsibility for the news section of the Music Mark website
  • Coordinating web development to improve usability for stakeholders
  • Supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager in campaign planning and management
  • Supporting the development of Music Mark’s Training & Events programme
  • Monitoring the impact of marketing activity, drawing insights from data to inform future activity
  • Collating and presenting information and statistics for the Music Mark Annual Review
  • Working with colleagues across the organisation to support their communications and ensure consistent brand voice

  • A laptop and/or other office equipment and resources will be provided where needed to undertake this role.
  • Holiday entitlement for full-time employees is 25 days per year, plus statutory bank holidays and an office closure between Christmas and New Year.
  • 3% employer contributions to a NEST pension scheme.
