Instrumental and SEND Music Tutors

Unqualified teachers’ pay scale, 4-6 (£30,071 - £35,259 pro rata) depending on experience

Stockport Music Service requires a string teacher (violin mainly although some lower strings may be taught) to cover maternity leave until May 2027, and additional tutors in other disciplines to join our casual pool.

Stockport Music Service is part of the Greater Manchester Music Hub and is looking to recruit a string teacher (violin mainly although some lower strings may be taught) to cover maternity leave until May 2027. This will include work in primary and secondary schools plus some teaching and conducting at the music centre.

In addition, we are also looking for tutors to join our casual pool for any work that might become available in September for brass, woodwind, percussion and music production.

We are a friendly team that works hard to develop all our tutors’ skills and you will be joining a committed and focused group of colleagues.
