Whole Class Instrumental Teacher
We are seeking to appoint an innovative and inspirational teacher to further develop the work of Wakefield Music Services, consortium partner for the West Yorkshire Music Hub. The post involves whole class instrumental teaching in a range of primary schools and is also suitable for a job share.
This exciting opportunity will involve joining our existing team of teachers and applicants would need to demonstrate that they have the skills and qualities to deliver high quality whole class instrumental tuition over a range of instruments at beginner level including Classroom Percussion, African & Samba Drumming, Ukulele & Electronic Keyboard.
The successful applicant will benefit from a wealth of high quality support including CPD and mentoring. Instrumental teachers employed by the service enjoy nationally agreed conditions of service and a casual car user allowance is associated with the post.
Starting date is as soon as possible in the new year and is initially for 2 terms up till August 2026.
