As a Teacher of Upper Strings with the Isle of Man Music Service, you will deliver engaging instrumental lessons across primary and secondary schools from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5. You will teach individuals, small groups and whole classes, prepare pupils for graded examinations and GCSE and A Level Music, and support performances, promotional concerts and Music Service events that help pupils grow and perform with confidence.

You will work within a focused and collaborative Music Service that puts pupils’ musical education first. Alongside specialist colleagues and service leaders, you will contribute to a professional culture that values strong subject knowledge, reflective practice and meaningful performance opportunities, including the Manx Youth Orchestra Ensembles and Children’s Choir.
