  • 5th October 2026
  • 10:00 - 11:30
  • Online (Zoom)

In this workshop we will explore the connection between music and movement: how young children feel music through their whole bodies and how we can utilise and build on this to provide them with learning-rich experiences.

In this workshop we will explore the connection between music and movement: how young children feel music through their whole bodies and how we can utilise and build on this to provide them with learning-rich experiences. In particular, we will focus on how we can use movement to develop children’s natural musicality, their ability to connect and to collaborate with others, to play, and to improvise. We shall also explore the role of the adult and will share songs and movement activities which can be integrated into your own practice. Participants will be invited to move, reflect, question and play along with us!
