Big Meet: National Centre For Arts Education (England)
Join us to explore the new National Centre for Arts Education (England), hear directly from Etio and the Department for Education, and help shape the future of music education.
You are invited to join Etio and Music Mark for a 90-minute Big Meet to explore the National Centre for Arts Education (NCAE). The Department for Education (DfE) has announced Etio as the delivery partner to establish and operate the centre. Etio will share their vision, priorities and plans for the Centre which will be followed by a 20 min Q&A. We’re delighted to be joined by the following colleagues:
- Dr Gordon Carver, UK Managing Director, Etio
- Dr Steven Berryman, Executive Director NCAE
- Director of Music Education, NCAE
- Bridget Whyte, Music Senior Adviser, NCAE
- Stefano Pozzi, DfE (invited)
Following Etio’s presentation and Q&A, you’ll have the chance to discuss further in breakout groups so we can all play a role in shaping NCAE’s future success. Etio and DfE colleagues will not attend these informal breakout groups however we will feedback agreed key themes to both.
The launch of the Centre marks a significant moment for the sector, and this is a chance to contribute your voice, connect with colleagues, and help build a shared understanding of how the National Centre for Arts Education might support high-quality music education for all.
