Mahaliah Edwards

An award-winning, experienced and versatile musician able to perform and arrange music, Mahaliah Edwards is a violinist, trained at the Purcell School for Young Musicians and a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Classically, she has performed at venues, nationally and internationally namely the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Town Hall Symphony Hall Birmingham, Winchester Cathedral and Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna. Mahaliah has also played at the Wembley Arena, O2 Academy Islington and festivals such as Kendal Calling and New Forest Folk Festival. Mahaliah is experienced in performing music of many genres from classical to folk, to gospel, jazz and reggae. In addition to performing, Mahaliah is a passionate educator, community musician and mentor to young people. Having worked with Sistema England, Awards for Young Musicians and London Music Masters, she is a dedicated to championing diversity and opportunity in the classical music industry and its education.
