Associate Teacher: Woodwind (Flute/Clarinet/Saxophone)

£29.90/£33.88 per hour depending on group size

We are looking for a Woodwind Teacher to take on a range of teaching from September 2026, including small group/individual tuition and Wider Opportunities. Ideally the teacher will be able to teach Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone as we have several schools where lessons in all three instruments are required.

Teachers should preferably have taught, and be happy to teach, group and individual lessons to pupils from across the age range (ie academic years 2-13) and whose abilities range from beginner to grade 8.  Experience of group teaching (max four per group) in a school environment and teaching on Wider Opportunities programmes is beneficial.

Teachers must be able to commit to working for 30 weeks per year (10 weeks per academic term).

Rates

£29.90 per hour for standard small group instrumental tuition
£33.88 per hour for large group / whole class sessions.

Teachers are paid via PAYE and are eligible to join a Pension Scheme.
