Peer Group: Instrumental and Vocal Tutors
Music Mark peer groups allow people across the UK to connect, discuss and learn from people with similar roles within the Music Education Sector. This session is specifically for Instrumental and Vocal Tutors.
A termly and open peer group meet-up for Instrumental and Vocal Tutors.
Uniquely for our Peer Group meetings, this session is open to non-members as well as members. Therefore all instrumental and vocal teachers are welcome – whether you are working for a hub, service, school or as a self-employed or freelance teacher.
Vocal and instrumental teachers often work in isolation. Even when working in schools, or as part of a music hub/service team, opportunities to connect with colleagues in person can be rare.
This group aims to tackle the issue of professional isolation by bringing together teachers across the UK for a termly virtual meetup. Whether you’ve been teaching for years or are new to the profession, come along to ask questions, join in with discussions, and learn from each other.
We welcome freelance teachers as well as those working for organisations.
