UpBeat arose out of requests from many practitioners who find themselves in the role of conductor without necessarily having had any specific training for that role. It is full of practical ideas, tips and rehearsal strategies which serve as a reminder to the experienced and offers areas of exploration for those at the beginning of their conducting life.
