On 17 May 2022, The Welsh Government released their National Plan for Music Education which includes provision for the establishment of a National Music Service.

Music Mark events around the National Plan

On 7 July 2022, Music Mark held a summit for the music education sector to discuss the new National Plan for Music Education in Wales. The webinar was chaired by Bridget Whyte, CEO of Music Mark, and Rhian Hutchings, CEO of Anthem, and featured panellists Emma Archer, and Mari Pritchard who discussed the genesis of the Plan, the National Music Service for Wales, the implications of the Plan and answered your questions.
