Our databases encourage the musical community to discover works by composers from historically excluded groups.
In addition to our Composer Database and Works Database, we also have several specific databases with much more detailed search parameters. These search interfaces allow users to discover composers based on self-identified information. The Institute for Composer Diversity recognizes—and urges all users to recognize—that every person represented in this database is a creator with a story and a unique body of work and we hope you enjoy exploring their music.
