#CanDoMusic
The #CanDoMusic campaign was created to support school and instrumental and vocal music teachers and signpost them to practical resources so that children and teachers #CanDoMusic in school. The campaign aimed to ensure all children and young people could resume their musical learning as schools reopened after the COVID-19 lockdowns.

The campaign aimed to ensure all children and young people could resume their musical learning as schools reopened after the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The campaign was created in August 2020 by three national membership organisations who came together in partnership to support music delivery: the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), the Music Teachers’ Association (MTA) and the UK Association for Music Education – Music Mark.
#CanDoMusic had two strands:
- A website sharing inspiring stories from classroom teachers, school leaders and other music educators and signposting to existing practical resources that teachers might use to ensure music is part of the solution in every school.
- A social media hashtag #CanDoMusic to highlight what is possible, signpost great ideas and resources, and celebrate solutions for keeping music making at the heart of learning for all children and young people.
