British Army: Music GCSE Skills

This toolkit from British Army Music consists of four free and engaging resources. Introduced by a real-life Army musician, each resource focuses on one instrument and covers instrument knowledge, music history, composition and listening skills.

British Army Music’s FREE toolkit of four engaging resources helps music teachers bridge the gap between KS3 Music and the Music GCSE curriculum.

Introduced by a real-life Army musician, each resource focuses on one instrument and covers instrument knowledge, music history, as well as composition and listening skills. They also enhance students’ awareness of an Army Music career path.

The resources have been designed to make lesson planning simple, and can be completed as a full-length lesson, lesson starters, extension activities, homework, or to aid revision.
