7 September 2021 | Music Mark Autumn Term Music Teaching CPD Day
Join Music Mark for the next in our series of online CPD days, with a difference…! We invite individuals & organisations to book this fantastic opportunity to take part in a day of keynotes, sessions and networking including, a keynote from award-winning composer, music historian and broadcaster Howard Goodall, a practical training session from the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain’s young professionals as well as some instrumental ‘Big Meets’ allowing colleagues to network and share practice across the country. Various dates| Music Mark Webinar Series: Youth Voice and your Organisation
Join Music Mark as we take a deeper dive into youth voice and how it can – and is – being embedded into organisations across the country. In this series of three sessions we will look to discuss three key areas; What is Youth Voice?, How to embed youth voice in your organisation and How to measure the impact of youth voice. We will be joined by colleagues from various organisations across the country for these panel style discussions and will look to provide lots of space for questions and debate.

11 October 2021 | Workforce Development Programme 2021/22: VAT in Education
“There’s no VAT – it’s education.”  You hear it frequently but it’s not quite right.  This is an introduction for finance and business support teams to the vagaries of VAT, what eligible bodies are, closely-related supplies and when you really do have to charge. 20 October | Workforce Development Programme 2021/22: How to facilitate a difficult professional conversation 
From time to time every leader/manager will face the prospect of having difficult professional conversations for which they may feel ill-equipped to handle. This workshop will address a range of issues around facilitating a difficult professional conversation, including; what makes a difficult conversation a difficult conversation?, Why do we have so many difficult professional conversations within professional cultures?, What can leaders/managers do to prepare for a difficult professional conversation, 4 things to ‘get right’ when facilitating a professional conversation & what leaders, at all levels of the organisation, should do to ensure there are less difficult conversations. 21 September 2021 | ACE Data Return: A big meet for English Music Education Hub Colleagues
Join us for this big meet featuring a panel of colleagues from Music Education Hubs and Arts Council England to discuss the requirements of the ACE Data Return. The session will include practical information about collecting and holding data and reporting it via the ACE form. We will welcome perspectives from our panellists and allow plenty of time for discussion and Q&A at the end. Sign up here.

17 November 2021 | Youth Music Update: A big meet for English Music Education Hub Colleagues
Join this big meet for an opportunity to hear from, and ask questions of, Youth Music about their current funding programmes and priorities as well as their future plans. The session will consider how hub leads and partners are, and might continue to, access and use funding from Youth Music to widen access to meet the need to ensure music education is as diverse and inclusive as possible.  Bridget Whyte will be joined by Youth Music CEO Matt Griffiths and Programme Director, Carol Reid, as well as some representatives from Youth Music funded program.
