Friday Afternoons Project Fund 2017 Opens

5th June 2017

Friday Afternoons is about encouraging young people to sing. Our newly composed songs and support material aim to help teachers develop their students’ skills – as performers, listeners and composers. All resources are available on the website for FREE.

In addition to the online resources, Friday Afternoons supports new and innovative singing projects through our Project Fund.

The 2017 Project Fund is now available! If you have a Friday Afternoons based project that you would like to run between 1 September 2017 and 31 March 2018, we encourage you to apply.

Last year Friday Afternoons supported 20 projects from organisations across the UK through the Project Fund. This year, a total of £10,000 is available to continue enabling projects to happen. Grants of up to £2000 are available for exceptional applications, with the majority of grants offered being in the region of £1000. The minimum you are able to apply for is £500.
