Eboracum Baroque Presents ‘The Story Orchestra: Four Seasons in One Day’

5th March 2021

Join the National Centre for Early Music at 2pm Tuesday 23rd March for a live streamed performance of the Story Orchestra: Four Seasons in One Day illustrated by Jessica Courtney-Tickle. Find out more here – and book your tickets today!

The NCEM’s Story Orchestra project with the musicians of Eboracum Baroque, is an online project funded by the East Riding Music Hub designed to engage primary school aged children – whether in the classroom, or at home – through music and related craft activities.

The Story Orchestra tells us of a little girl called Isabelle and her dog, Pickle who take an adventure of a lifetime across the changing seasons through the music of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. We’ll hear the Spring blossom, feel the Summer’s heat, gather in the Autumn harvest and gasp at the cold of Winter. Narrated by Vivaldi himself, we will hear this wonderful music performed live especially for you.

How to book
The livestream performance will take place on Tuesday 23rd March at 2pm (approx. 40mins) and will be available to watch again up until Friday 28th May.

Book your ticket here.
Tickets are £15.00 per school, and just £10.00 for schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire. You will be sent a link and password that can be used to stream the performance in school or the link can be shared with as many of your students as needed if they are learning from home.
