Music education charity Roadworks have partnered with Mixtape Madness to launch Drillosophy. Drillosophy is a response to the COVID-19 lockdown, giving young music fans at home remote access to fun weekly workshops of critical thinking, and educators with resources to deliver work to students.
The series of six episodes will combine contemporary music culture, urban sociology and philosophical discussion. They will be presented by writer and youth worker Ciaran Thapar alongside MC and ethnomusicologist, Reveal. Drillosophy was developed with support from the Sound Connections’ Innovate scheme.
