Content submissions for the inaugural Digital Innovation in Music Education Conference 2024 are now open and we would love to hear from you. Find the full details below, and complete this form to submit your ideas. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 10th March 2024.

What is it?

The conference will be a full day exploring innovative music technology. Submissions offering software and hardware training, teacher advice and sessions that cover inclusion and accessibility using music technology are all welcome.

Attendees can expect support in the use of music tech at GCSE/A Level, learn about the career opportunities using music technology, and join sessions focussed on SEND, inclusion and accessibility.

Music Technology Hardware and Software companies will be invited to attend as exhibitors to showcase their innovative offers and talk to music educators about how they can work together to develop new technologies.

The programme so far…

The programme will open with a panel session featuring experts in the field of music technology discussing why we should be engaging and innovating more with tech in music education and where it could take us. The panel session will focus on examining the issues we need to address in terms of pedagogy, approach, and skills to achieve the above and thinking about the challenges and potential solutions to all these issues.

Conference aims

We welcome submissions for breakout sessions running throughout the rest of the programme. The crucial element is that it should celebrate Innovation in Music Technology and how as educators, we can use tech to innovate and create the tech of the future!

Logistics

Breakout sessions will be 45 minutes long, and basic AV and presentation equipment will be made available. Successful submissions will have up to 2 free places allocated for speakers, and we recommend a maximum of 3 speakers per session.

Content proposals should be submitted by 10/03/24 by completing this form. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us by emailing info@musicmark.org.uk.
