We believe that every child, regardless of race; gender; where they live; their levels of musical talent; parental income; whether they have special educational needs or disabilities; and whether they are looked-after children; deserve the very best music education. We believe that music has the power to raise aspirations and have a positive impact upon attainment levels. We also know that music enriches a school. It provides young people with a breadth and balance of experiences and skills during their school life that allow them, ultimately to make better choices and to live better lives. Music is a central component of that vibrant social experience at school.
