Music for Life

Learning how to play a musical instrument or to how to sing can be a transformative and life-enhancing experience. Music for Life was set up without any public funding as an experimental idea in 1995 to bring together some of the best musicians and teachers across Cheshire to inspire and encourage children across the area to get involved with music making. Working in partnership with 120 schools and 90 independent music teachers, the not-for-profit organisation now provides specialist lessons to around 4,500 young people every week across Cheshire, Wirral and North Staffordshire.
