BHMA provides high quality and inclusive music and arts education and performance opportunities for all children and young people across the city including music lessons, ensembles, projects, workshops, orchestras and summer schools.  BHMA is the lead partner of the award winning SoundCity, the Music Education Hub for Brighton & Hove, working alongside Glyndebourne, University of Sussex, AudioActive and representatives from Public Health and the Music Industry. BHMA also leads Our Future City, the Cultural Education Partnership for Brighton & Hove.  A 10 year programme across the city that seeks to improve the lives and life-chances of children and young people in the City through cultural learning and creative skills development.   Developed through an intensive process of consultation and pilot programmes involving over 1000 people, it is currently delivering a three-year programme involving children, young people, parents/carers and professionals from health, social services, local businesses, the creative industries, education and culture.  The 5 headline goals are: For more information, visit www.ourfuturecity.org.uk  " />

Brighton & Hove Music & Arts

Brighton & Hove Music & Arts (BHMA) is now part of Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival.  Together we aim to create even more memorable cultural experiences for children and young people across Brighton & Hove.

BHMA provides high quality and inclusive music and arts education and performance opportunities for all children and young people across the city including music lessons, ensembles, projects, workshops, orchestras and summer schools.  BHMA is the lead partner of the award winning SoundCity, the Music Education Hub for Brighton & Hove, working alongside Glyndebourne, University of Sussex, AudioActive and representatives from Public Health and the Music Industry.
