Brass Bands England

“Brass Bands make music and in doing so create environments where people from all walks of life can flourish and develop, socially, educationally and artistically.” Mike Kilroy, Chairman, Brass Bands England

Brass Bands England works to encourage, support and promote the music making of English Brass Bands.

Brass Bands England works with a wide range of partners in strategic, tactical and informal ways to help share the fun, challenges and rewards of being involved with a brass band.

We promote and share the brass band story and encourage the support of bands across the country.

We are a voice for our bands and our players and we shout about the life-enhancing benefits of this vital part of our heritage and culture.

We are keen to support the development of young brass players and support Music Hubs to have youth brass ensembles and brass bands within their local offer.
