300 Surrey pupils perform in annual music festival

More than 300 pupils from across Mole Valley and Surrey have taken part in Howard of Effingham School’s annual music festival.
Year 2 pupils from eight schools involved in the Effingham Learning Partnership (ELP) came together to perform in the ninth confederation-wide music festival, which took place this year and was themed around maths.
Commenting on the festival, Nancy Gillio-Terry, head of vocal development at Surrey Arts, said: “The children sang wonderfully and with obvious enjoyment that was a pleasure to see…
The involvement of older students from Howard of Effingham School was inspirational. Well done to all involved.”
