There are two types of recognition:
- The Music Mark of Recognition for Dedication & Improvement
- The Music Mark of Recognition for Ambition & Quality.
Your music service will determine which recognition is right for your school.

Certificate, Logo and More
- Display your certificate proudly in your school.
- Add the Music Mark of Recognition logo to your your website, emails, and letters.
- Tell us your music education story and we’ll consider it for inclusion on our website and social media.
- When you receive a Music Mark of Recognition, you’ll also be able to join us as a School Member with a 50% discount.
The Music Mark of Recognition Pledge
When you receive the Music Mark of Recognition, we’ll ask you to agree to the Music Mark of Recognition Pledge before you can download your certificate and logo.
The Pledge:
By accepting the Music Mark of Recognition, this school pledges to:
- Advocate for the importance of music education in the curriculum and creative life of our school
- Provide an equitable, diverse and inclusive music education for every young person
- Welcome opportunities to broaden our musical horizons by working with providers in our community and beyond
