Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) Engage is an all-inclusive initiative that strives to make music accessible to people of all ages and walks of life. Through community projects, workshops, weekly programmes, summer schools and our flagship Pathfinder programme, we seek to address barriers to music, music making, and music education.
You will be a highly organised and motivated individual that enjoys working within a busy educational environment. You will provide operational and logistical management to ensure the smooth running of all Young Programmes activities, including managing new and existing projects and programmes, managing professional networks and developing, implementing, managing and act as secretary to a new RNCM Engage Youth Council.
The candidate we are seeking will be a central part of the RNCM Engage team and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You will possess outstanding organisational skills, the ability to work collaboratively and contribute to collective decision-making. You will understand the challenges and opportunities for widening participation within the arts and cultural sectors and have a desire to contribute positively to the access and participation agenda. You will have a track record that demonstrates excellent team working skills and you must have first-rate communication skills and a flexible approach to your workload.
