Woodwind teachers, Guitar teachers and Percussion teachers
We are seeking to expand our pool of hourly paid teachers to deliver instrumental tuition to individuals, small groups and whole classes in schools across the Wolverhampton area. We are particularly interested in applications from teachers of woodwind, guitar and percussion. There is immediate work available and a growing engagement with the city’s schools.

Teachers must be enthusiastic and committed team members, willing and able to travel within the Wolverhampton area, and happy to work in a variety of schools across this diverse city.
Applications are welcome from qualified and unqualified teachers.
The posts are recruited through our agency partner Yoo Recruit, who offer pension benefits and holiday pay. All Wolverhampton Music Service teachers receive a laptop for routine teaching and administration and benefit from the annual cycle of paid training and development.
Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
Successful applicants will be invited to initially join our pool of teachers and will be offered work on a casual basis.
Salary: £20.48 – £32.01 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience (calculated on National Teacher’s Pay scales UNQ5 – UPR3)
