 About the Role

Are you passionate about vocal music education and ready to lead transformative change across schools and communities? Inspiring Music is seeking a dynamic Vocal Coordinator to shape and deliver high-quality vocal provision throughout Central Bedfordshire.

As Vocal Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead the strategic direction and implementation of vocal tuition and ensemble opportunities in line with Inspiring Music’s Vocal Strategy and the National Plan for Music Education.
  • Champion our vision by engaging with schools, community groups, and strategic partners to broaden access to vocal opportunities.
  • Support pupils’ musical development through needs analysis, targeted interventions, and CPD for vocal tutors.
  • Collaborate with partners to enrich music education and plan inspiring events and out-of-school opportunities.
  • Maintain a teaching commitment while contributing to team meetings, agenda planning, and essential administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong background in vocal music education and leadership.
  • Is confident in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Can inspire and support vocal tutors and young musicians.
  • Is organised, proactive, and passionate about inclusive music-making.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to travel to different areas within Central Bedfordshire as necessary to support service needs and school colleagues.
