Violin, Brass and Class Music Teachers

£24,774 - £31,352 depending on experience

We are looking for teachers with Brass, Violin and class music teaching skills to fill a number of gaps in our workforce. The initial commitment would be for a small number of hours but there is every opportunity to expand in the new academic year.

Employer
Harrow Music Service (Harrow Council)
Location
Schools in Harrow
Contract Type
Part-Time Fixed-Term Contract
Closing Date
10th December 2021

Harrow Music Service provision has expanded after the contraction of the last two years. We have reinstated ensembles and the Festivals for which HMS is renowned. We are passionate about working towards the goals that every child in Harrow has the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, with performance opportunities and a clear route of progression and welcome anyone else who believes in these goals as well.

Brass and Violin teaching take place in schools where pupils are taught progressively in small groups. Class Music Teaching work would be as part of the Music’s Cool (©Brent Music Service) programme which HMS delivers in partnership with Brent Music Service. It is likely that BMS would be interested in offering work to HMS Music’s Cool teachers. Induction and training will be offered.
