We want our new recruits to thrive on being part of a talented team, harness creativity and bring fresh ideas to life as they help diversify what we do. We are a leader in our field, known for our innovative work with children with special educational needs and disabilities, our schemes of work and turntablism offer, as well as our more traditional high-quality bands and orchestras, such as the renowned Leicester-shire Schools Symphony Orchestra. We are looking for individuals who want to contribute to shaping our vision as we grow.

As the lead partner for the Leicester-Shire Music Education Hub, we will be looking for applicants to have exceptional organisation and communication skills with an excellent track record of working in partnership to improve music education outcomes. All team members contribute to developing our vision and we would expect our candidates to have clear ideas about what future music services could be.

As an organisation, we are continually looking at being more commercial to support future growth. Together, we want to effectively deliver our vision, values, aims and objectives in line with the National Plan for Music Education (NPME) to ensure our service is sustainable.

To help achieve our aims and objectives we are recruiting to the following new posts:

Central Bands & Orchestras Lead 
Working Hours: Part Time, 629 hours per year (39 weeks term time + 2 weeks)
Salary: £32,094 – Pro-Rata
Appointment Type: Permanent

Events Manager
Working Hours: Full Time , Hours per week – 37
Salary: £32,094
Appointment Type: Permanent

Team Leader – Music Technology, Contemporary and Urban
Working Hours: Full Time , Hours per week – 37
Salary: £35,727
Appointment Type: Permanent

Team Leader – Schools (Advice and Inclusion)
Working Hours: Full Time, 1517 hours per year (39 weeks term time + 2 weeks)
Salary: £35,727
Appointment Type: Permanent

Music Leader: SEND
Working Hours: Part Time, 606.8 hours per year (39 weeks term time + 2 weeks)
Salary: £27,936 – Pro-Rata
Appointment Type: Permanent

Music Leader: Singing 
Working Hours: Part Time, various hours up to 1517 per year (39 weeks term time + 2 weeks)
Salary: £27,936 – Pro-Rata
Appointment Type: Permanent

Music Leader: Music Technology, Contemporary and Urban 
Working Hours: Part Time, 910.2 hours per year (39 weeks term time + 2 weeks)
