Required from 1 September 2019, a fixed-term Upper Strings teacher to teach individuals, small groups and whole class sessions (with the possibility of some curriculum support for a suitably qualified applicant). A passion for widening access to music for all children, an excellent track record and the ability to motivate young people to achieve their potential are all essential.
School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions – Up to a maximum of point 6 on MPS, depending on qualifications and experience. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers to the profession are welcome to apply.
East Riding Schools’ Music Service supports a large range of high quality musical extra-curricular activities including bands, orchestras, ensembles, and workshop/masterclasses. There is the opportunity to be involved which could include evening and weekend working (paid as additional hours).
You will be based at the Hexagon Centre in Beverley, working up to 4 days (26 hours) per week, Monday to Friday. A current driving licence is essential for which a mileage allowance is paid.
