Tutors of Cello and Trombone
We are looking for skilled and inspiring cello and trombone tutors to deliver high-quality tuition to aspiring young musicians on Sundays in Leeds.
Yorkshire Young Musicians is a Centre for Advanced Training in Music supported by the Department for Education’s Music & Dance Scheme. Yorkshire Young Musicians provides access to the highest quality music tuition to promising young musicians aged 8 – 19.
There are two vacancies at our Leeds centre:
- Cello (approximately 2.5 hours per week on Sundays)
- Trombone (approximately 2 hours per week on Sundays)
There is room to expand hours, dependent on student recruitment. Additional theory and/or musicianship teaching may be available for candidates with suitable experience.
You will have experience of teaching at an advanced level and be able to inspire and support young musicians at all stages of development. You will be an accomplished performer and teacher on your instrument, with the ability to teach students up to conservatoire or university entrance level.
