The Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative arts administrator to support the development of music education in schools. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious arts administrator to join a dynamic and forward thinking team.

You will plan and develop a range of music education projects working in close partnership with schools, teachers and other key cultural partners. THAMES works with a range of cultural organisations including the LSO, the Barbican, Spitalfields Music, Serious and Voces8 and The Wigmore Hall.

You will have extensive experience of having engaged in arts administration and have a commitment to music education in schools. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a good understanding of what quality looks like in music and music education.

This is a .6 (21 hours per week) post and is part of a Job Share.

A secondment from other cultural organisations is very welcome. This is a high profile post which will give an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Project Manager to engage with music organisations of the highest quality as well as building on the excellent work that has already been achieved.
