Strings Tutor

£28.00 or £37.33 per hour

An enthusiastic and driven strings tutor is sought (any specialism, with the ability to provide beginner tuition on upper and/or lower strings and advanced level tuition on their specialist instrument) to join the Sefton Music Service database of Independent Music Tutors. There will be the opportunity to develop projects with both primary and secondary schools and contribute to a range of extended (out of school) music making activities for children and young people.

Sefton Music Service is a successful service and the lead organisation for SKY Music Hub, skymusichub.com. It provides wide ranging music opportunities for children and young people who live or go to school in the Sefton area.

Your enthusiasm and passion for music will inspire children and in their first experience of instrumental music making and beyond.
We expect to offer 3-4 full days of tuition.
Relevant qualifications and experience are essential, and some experience of strings development work, cross phase (KS 2-3) work and/or projects would helpful.
A Summer term (June) or Autumn Term Start is possible.
