Berkshire Maestros, the lead organisation of the Berkshire Music Hub, is looking for an inspiring leader with a music education background. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of leadership in addition to outstanding interpersonal skills and be an excellent motivator of staff.

In this role you will report to the CEO and be part of the senior leadership team responsible for delivering on the vision and strategy of Berkshire Maestros. You will have the ability to work progressively at expanding the musical reach in the county while working collaboratively with new and existing stakeholders. You will be committed to ongoing learning, keeping abreast of educational developments within schools and music hubs, including working to the framework of the National Plan for Music Education.

You will be responsible for mapping pathways of progression for our children and young people as well as taking responsibility for ensembles at both local and county level. You will take the lead on our partnership work ensuring greater outreach into the community and a focus on fundraising to support such partnership work.

This role commands a competitive salary in the range of £42,500 to £50,000 per annum and benefits. The start date will be September 2020.
