Scarborough Music Centre Manager

Scarborough Music Centre is a thriving centre with a great tradition of ensemble activity. The centre meets on a Saturday morning with a range of ensembles and runs a further two ensembles in the week. Groups range from beginners to advanced and cover wind bands, jazz bands, guitars, strings and orchestra.

We are looking for an inspiring manager to continue to build on the excellent work of the departing manager, who has been in place for 35 years. The role is for two days per week, one of which is an office day and the other is on a Saturday at the centre, equating to 15 hours per week. The role is on an NJC local government contract, term time only. It is initially a fixed term contract to 2025, as all new contracts for the Music Service are. It is fully expected that the centre will continue past this date.
