This position will be hourly paid £25.84 per contact hour (plus teachers’ pension).

A full driving licence and access to transport are desirable for these roles, however, if an applicant does not hold a driving licence due to a disability but is otherwise suitable for the roles, Musica Kirklees is committed to making reasonable adjustments to the timetable and your application will still be considered.

Piano/Keyboard Teacher

There are currently 15 hours of teaching per week available, teaching in schools in the Kirklees area.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity to increase these hours through pupil recruitment which would then lead to additional small group/individual lessons and Whole Class Ensemble Tuition. For new teachers, we would provide up to 15 hours of paid recruitment as directed by your line manager.

Percussion Teacher

There are currently 5 hours of teaching per week available, teaching in schools in the Kirklees area.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity to increase these hours through pupil recruitment which would then lead to additional small group/individual lessons and Whole Class Ensemble Tuition. For new teachers, we would provide up to 15 hours of paid recruitment as directed by your line manager.
