Piano Accompanist
Our new Armonico Consort Academy North Warwickshire junior choir has attracted over 40 local children. We are looking for an excellent freelance Piano Accompanist (Diploma standard) to play for term-term weekly rehearsals and occasional concerts.
Hours: Thursday (term-time) 16:15 – 18:00
The successful candidate will accompany in a range of styles/genres including classical, folk, musical theatre, pop and rock. They need to demonstrate excellent sight-reading skills, an ability harmonise and be well prepared in advance of each rehearsal/performance.
They will be passionate about music and flexible in their approach, whilst looking to inspire and develop the talents of young singers.
There may be opportunities to work in other areas of Armonico’s work, including our Choir Creation scheme, mentoring and community outreach programme.
