Peripatetic Teachers

We have a number of excellent opportunities for enthusiastic and creative Peripatetic teachers to deliver high quality individual and small group music tuition in schools and at our music centres. You will have the opportunity of enhancing and developing your career with one of the most successful music hubs in the country, being involved with all areas of the music service. This includes ensemble direction and performance opportunities where available, together with a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced tuition.

We are looking for self-motivated teachers for any the following teaching portfolio to start in September 2021:

Reading Music centre: 9 – 10 hours per week evenings and Saturdays
Newbury Music Centre: 6 – 8 hours per week evenings and Saturdays

Mini Maestros
Newbury Music Centre 2 – 2.50 hours per week on Saturdays (ages 3-7)
Dedworth/Windsor: 2 hours on weekdays (under 3’s)
Emmer Green: 2 hours on weekdays (under 3’s)

Bassoon (general woodwind and piano desirable)
Bracknell Music Centre: Thursday evening
Windsor Music Centre: Saturday morning and a small amount of teaching in schools

Windsor Music Centre: 7 to 8 hours per week including Saturday morning.

Reading/ Wokingham/ Bracknell Music Centres: Various hours available

West Berkshire area: 3 to 4 hours per week
Reading Music Centre: Friday evening

Newbury Music Centre: weekday evenings/Saturday morning
Piano Reading Music Centre: Thursday evening

Driving licence and own transport are essential for these roles.
