Peripatetic Teacher of Voice

Due to unprecedented demand, Bradfield College is looking to appoint a further peripatetic Teacher of Voice. Under the leadership of the Head of Voice, the number of pupils participating in choirs and taking individual lessons has increased significantly. We are excited about the prospect of continued growth and wish to appoint a fourth dynamic and engaging practitioner to join the team. This post is initially one day a week with the potential for additional time.

This role will require you to have sensitivity and regard for the traditions and achievements of the Music Department with a combined vision to inspire confidence of colleagues and pupils in pursuing musical excellence. You will have experience and interest in pedagogy, with a proven ability to accompany and coach performers.

 

You will work closely with the Director of Music and department staff to gain a good understanding of the needs of the pupils and the instrumental teaching system in the College. You will be confident and willing to coach pupils in a variety of musical styles: classical, musical theatre and popular music.
