Peripatetic Music Teachers
Stoke-on-Trent City Music Service is dedicated to providing high quality music education for children and young people in Stoke-on-Trent. The service is looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers who would like to join the peripatetic teaching team.

Salary: Teacher’s Pay and Conditions:
- £20.28- £32.82 per hour (Qualified Teacher)
- £14.33 – £22.67 per hour (Unqualified Teacher)
We are particularly interested in applications from teachers with experience in the following areas:
- All disciplines (Especially Strings and Guitar)
- Whole Class Ensemble Teaching (First Access)
- Curriculum Music Teachers (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
Casual teaching hours will be offered in response to cover work and demand from schools. Some evening/weekend work may be required and the ability to travel between schools is essential. Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
Successful applicants will be invited to initially join our pool of teachers and will be offered work on a casual basis.
