Music for Bedford Borough is looking for musicians to support its work in schools and its Saturday Morning Music Centre. As lead organisation for the Bedford Music Hub, it delivers a wide range of traditional and contemporary large group and whole-class projects in schools as well as ensembles at Music Centre. We are particularly interested in hearing from someone who could help us develop the Bedford Children’s Choir

This post is ideal for those that are keen to inspire young musicians and that either have experience in teaching large groups and whole class, or are keen to develop these skills to add to their existing portfolio. Full training and support is available.

Although work is offered on an hourly-paid basis successful candidates will be encouraged and supported to develop their teaching timetable to whatever extent works for them and the service.

Bedford Borough Council takes great care to recruit the very best people so that the services we provide to our community are first class. We believe that the best work gets done in an environment that’s enjoyable and which values, supports and encourages the development of its employees.
