Hourly; £22.97 and/or £30.74 (£30.74 for lead role tutor)

The Community Music Service (CMS) is a nationally acclaimed innovative service that provides a far reaching provision of music activities for all the community in the borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Location: CMS, The Music Centre, Fanshawe Crescent, Dagenham, Essex RM9 5QA

The CMS is seeking to appoint experienced, innovative and committed musicians to join our highly talented teaching team. There currently exists vacancies for two Part-Time Guitar tutors to join our talented teaching team and wider opportunities teams (whole class instrumental and vocal programmes at KS2) to develop their skills through apprenticeship roles and to lead. We welcome applications from musicians seeking their first teaching experience.

This post is available with an hourly paid salary; £22.97 and/or £30.74 for lead role tutor, with a sessional contract of varying hours on an annual basis.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on the successful applicant including a Disclosure check (Applicant Declaration must be completed and returned with application).
