We are seeking a self-motivated, conscientious, well-organised person to manage and maintain our musical instrument stock which is loaned to schools and hired to children within the London Borough of Brent. The successful applicant will also support musical projects and events by being responsible for the delivery and collection of musical equipment (such as PA system, African drums etc.)

The role does require physical strength to lift and load musical instruments for collection/delivery, and would suit someone with a musical background and/or someone who might enjoy basic instrument maintenance work (repairs will generally be out-sourced). Training can be provided.

All applicants must have a clean driving licence and be prepared to drive a large transit van. You will also be subject to a DBS check.

BMS is a dynamic and successful Brent Council Service, providing musical tuition, ensembles and high-quality performing experiences to over 12,000 children each week.

Hours and days vary, by negotiation. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
