Music Therapist

Opera North is seeking an inspiring and experienced music therapist to develop and deliver a year-round programme of engaging group music sessions with clear outcomes within the award winning Opera North Education programme; with a focus on the In Harmony Opera North SEND provision and dementia related activity in particular. The successful candidate will have a background in music therapy, a solid classical music training and be able to demonstrate experience of working professionally delivering group music sessions for children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. The post is subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and is available for two days a week initially; with potential for growth subject to funding.
