Music Teaching Assistant/Accompanist

Lanesborough School is seeking to appoint a hardworking, dedicated teaching assistant/accompanist with a passion for music and education to support the Director of Music from September 19 (full-time, term-time only, initial one-year contract).
This is a newly created post to support the wide range of classroom and extra-curricular activities at Lanesborough, which is the choir school to Guildford Cathedral. Music forms a central and much-valued part of the curricular/extra-curricular and the teaching assistant would be involved both practically and administratively, led by the Director of Music.
The role would suit either a musician and pianist who wishes to gain experience in the classroom, or an individual with strong administrative skills, sound educational knowledge and a passion for music and learning. Lanesborough is a highly successful school renowned for the quality of pastoral care alongside excellent academic standards.
Salary: According to qualifications and experience on the Lanesborough Scale
