We are looking for an exceptional music facilitator/teacher to deliver whole class Music across one of our Primary schools in Croydon (Early Years to Year 6) along with coaching and developing class teachers to teach Music (particularly focused in Early Years).

We are looking for an exceptional music facilitator/teacher to deliver whole class Music across one of our Primary schools in Croydon (Early Years to Year 6) along with coaching and developing class teachers to teach Music (particularly focused in Early Years).

This role is particularly suited to freelance practitioners, with the opportunity to also take on additional opportunities as part of our artist team (including leading student ensembles, supporting at events/residentials etc).

The core hours* for the Croydon role are as follows:

  • Tuesday: 4 hours coaching teachers
  • Wednesday: 8:30 – 4:30 teaching whole-class music and leading after-school choir
  • Thursday: 8.30 – 3:30 teaching whole-class music

*Candidates only able to take on Wednesday and Thursday will still be considered.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a genuine passion for and belief in the potential of every young person
  • Be an excellent teacher and music educator
  • Be an active musician
  • Have experience in choir leading, whole-class teaching, and (ideally) ukulele
