Berkshire Maestros is currently looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual to manage our Music Centres in Reading & West Berkshire. This role involves leading the provision of music education across the region developing comprehensive provision for all children and young people.
The successful candidate will liaise with school staff and Berkshire Maestros tutors to ensure the centres are running effectively and will proactively run concerts and events ensuring a range of opportunities for all students.
In order to be successful in the role you will need to have experience leading a busy team that are active across multiple locations. You will need to be proactive in seeking gaps within your area and challenging them by developing strategic channels to increase uptake of provision. You will be passionate about building new and exciting opportunities for our young people and have strong organisational and administrative skills. The right candidate will have extensive teaching experience and be looking for an opportunity to hone and develop their leadership practice. The successful candidate will be required to teach as part of this role.

This role commands a salary starting at £32,000 per annum, dependent upon candidate skills and experience. Additionally we offer a generous benefits package including Teachers Pension, car allowance and flexible working options.
