We are currently seeking a new Music Centre Administrator to help run and supervise various out-of-school Music Centres on behalf of the TBMH, both after-school and on a Saturday, and to provide office-based general administrative support and music-specific support to the TBMH team.

The Role:
This is a busy full-time position working Tuesday – Saturday during term time to incorporate administering our Saturday Music Centre on site, and Monday – Friday the rest of the year. Based at the Lyric Hammersmith during the week, the postholder will need to travel to partner premises to minute meetings and help out at events. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to work in conjunction with our other Administrators to meet the needs of our busy service. Given the nature of our service, this role would be best suited to someone with experience in arts administration or from a musical or other creative background, however applications from all previous areas of work / study are welcome.

About You:
The successful applicant will be a musician and administrator who is skilled at managing their workload and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. They will also have excellent customer service skills and be a good team player with excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills. This position would suit a candidate looking for a varied role in education administration who enjoys working with children. As well as the Saturday Music Centre, the role will have specific responsibility for other areas including school SLAs and instrument stock management, so being able to balance a varied workload is pivotal to this role.

The award-winning Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH) is the lead organisation that oversees the delivery of music education in three West London boroughs – the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and the City of Westminster – working with schools, pupils and the workforce. It is a centralised Local Authority service which receives core funding from the Department for Education via the Arts Council England.
The TBMH Strategic Partners are two internationally renowned organisations – The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal College of Music. In addition, a dedicated and quality-assured group of delivery partner organisations work to meet the TBMH’s strategic aims.

Role Requirements:
An enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this post and the postholder will be expected to abide by legislation to ensure that all aspects of safeguarding are met.
Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
